Technical description:

The quality requirements of the feed-water of the boilers are included in the standard No. MSZ. 15200-79. Classification of the boilers, quality requirements of the feed-water used to operate them are determined as a function of the applied fuel, the boiler type (system) and the permitting pressures.
One of the quality characteristics is the CO and O content of the feed-water. One of the devices serving to observe the limits specified for these is the thermical de-aerator. Its objective: to reduce the corrosion of the technological system and ensure favourable feed-water temperature for the boiler at the same time.
Besides the integrated de-aerator and supplying tank the compact unit contains the essential fittings and instruments needed to operate them. The supplying tank is delivered mounted with devices, heat-insulated and covered.

When integrating the unit into the system the following points of view shall be considered:
- pressure of the supplementary water before the level regulator at nominal performance is min. 0,2 MPa(t)
- pressure of the heating steam before the steam-pressure reducer is 0,3-0,5 MPa(t)

Water-level regulating equipment:
The FTG... -typed degasifying supplying tanks are provided with intermittent or continuous water-level regulator according to the demands.

Automatic operation:
- it opens the safety valve at the lower water-level limit, gives an acoustic sign, and allows stopping the supply pump through the locking fastener
- the water-level is low: the safety valve opens
- normal water level
- the water-level is high: the safety valve closes
- upper water-level limit: the safety valve closes    + acoustic sign

Steam-pressure regulating equipment:
The working pressure of the de-aerator is 0,02 1 MPa(t), which is ensured by the gas-pressure reducer from the steam taken from the steam network in the boiler-room.
Type of the steam-pressure reducer: ISG with "A" typed membrane..
Pressure of the heating steam before the steam-pressure reducer: 0,3-0,5 MPa(t). (In case of a deviant primer steam-pressure we will revise the pressure reducer delivered to the equipment in the possession of information.)

Connection, installation:
For the installation of the degasifying supplying tank to the technology in the boiler-room the connexion diagram No. 1 is the normative.
Installation height of the supplying tank is determined by the minimal flowing height of the connected supply-pump. The recommended installation height is 3.5-4 m, which shall always be checked according to the selected or existing supply-pump.
It can be taken directly to the supply tank according to the local conditions, if the quality of the returning condensates, their continuous return and pressure allow it. Then the de-aerator receives only the supplementary water arriving from the water softener.
The de-aerator is suitable to keep the oxygen concentration of the outgoing feed-water under the level of 30 µg/dm3 in case of +20 °C incoming temperature of supplementary water.
